  2. That's not a fair comparison, a $37k Bolt versus $50k+ Tesla Model 3. EV fans who say ICE aren't as good as EV cars is because they compare a $25k ICE to a $50k+ EV. My 2017 Corvette Stingray is the same price as the Tesla Model 3 and has the same torque when you press the pedal (Corvette has 300 lbs torque at 1000 rpm and goes up to 465 lbs) and more and is quicker. Not to mention the Corvette is way more nimble because it's 3300lbs so it corners at 1.13G and stops 60-0mph in 90ft.

  3. Range is only half the issue. It is charge time and the fact that it takes 1000x longer to charge a car than to simply put gas in it. What about emergencies too where you just started to charge you car but then you have to go somewhere? Tell the daycare or babysitter to please watch my kid longer while I wait for my car to charge. Or tell your 12 year old daughter to wait at the mall alone at 9pm until your car finishes charging so you can pick her up. Or tell your job interviewer to wait while you wait for your car to charge. From my research a Tesla replacement battery costs $12k-$20k. Superchargers shorten battery life. Insurance costs more.
