  1. All the shop classes that were in schools decades ago in my school years are gone, these days its all about college prep and the 'white collar' world. Also throw in critical thinking skills (ability?) and some economics/finance. As for 'de-digitizing' I'd love to see that as every function on every product does not need to be controlled by a semiconductor and under a subscription. Start by taking the majority of them out of cars, kitchen appliances, home function features and getting rid of internet-connected-everything, too.
