  1. Well, that sounds a bit disturbing! When you started mentioning the other naval powers I was wondering if you'd mention India and the Indian Ocean trade routes. While India doesn't have a big navy right now, it does have a growing one and it sits in the middle of that important route between the Middle East and S.E. Asia's economies, and the USA has made some overtures on military co-operation with the Indian forces. And considering China is making inroads into the Indian Ocean, it might be something to consider.
