  1. Another reason not to put too much faith in polls until September is the 'bounce' candidates/parties get from the coverage of their conventions. They're scripted 'feel-good' presentations that help the parties gain a few percentage points in the short run, but that number will settle back down in 1-2 weeks. I notice before these Zeihan videos that I get a lot of political fundraising ads; they used to be Biden/Dem ads, now they are Trump/Repub ads. The weird YT algorithms at work.
