  1. Peter might be wrong on the polling at the state level. I'm in California. We have oodles of pollsters due to all the statewide ballot propositions that we vote on, and its worse in the presidential cycle. No party affiliation needed to get on a pollster's list. Ballot propositions are literally a business in itself here in California.

  2. The Repubs and the Dems are putting up candidates I don't agree with, but I'll still vote for Biden this time around. The domestic situation in the USA may be crap right now (a president really can't do a who lot about the economy), but when it comes to international policy & relations Biden is the choice; he's got so many worldwide connections from his 30 years in the Senate and as VP that he can get any disagreeing countries together. I shudder to think of what would have happened the last few years (Israel/Hamas, Russia/Ukraine, China/S.E. Asia) if Trump had been president.
