  1. Wasn't there a Bond movie with something like that at the start, stealing a fighter carrying a tactical nuke at a remote 'arms bazaar' for wealthy bad guys? I think Pierce Brosnan was playing Bond at that time. Not one of the better Bond movies, but pretty watchable movie IIRC.

  2. That's been old news since everyone in the Middle East was attacking Israel. Back in the 1970s-1980s plenty of Soviet stuff was captured and 'reverse-engineered' and almost always had some critical USA-made parts in it. One of the guys told me it was always 2 to 3 generations behind the USA's equivalent systems.
