  1. Does Iran have enough refining capacity? Just curious, as I'd heard their domestic facilities were limited to cleaning up the crude (dewatering, degassing, sand & dirt removal) and ship it out to foreign customers. They were getting refined products back from other countries as partial payment. (I've been out of the business for a while).

  2. Isn't the UAE the banking center of that area? And they are not shy about taking in large sums from anyone considered a scoundrel on the world stage in a quiet manner to help with anonymity.

  3. Not sure about the politics, but from past contacts in the industry I've heard that Saudi Arabia's oil production operations are better defended than its major cities (and it doesn't have a lot of major cities).
