  1. I think India has already benefitted (as have others in S.E. & southern Asia) as manufacturing has slowly exited during the COVID situation and economic changes in China. Not a quick rise in economic benefit to the Indian economy, just a steady uptick that continues to grow.

  2. That's what Xi uses as a diversionary tactic, the "shiny object" to deflect attention away from the problems on the mainland. IF the reports of increasing incursions into Taiwan airspace and other provocations are correct, it'll just take one J-20 fighter shot down to trigger a war, then see how long it lasts if China's military capacity is being limited by its own economic/production problems (if you've ever studied poli-sci you know wars suck up a lot of resources very quickly).
