  2.  @e.d9993  Didn't Hamas come about from the militant wings of the PLO and the Muslim Brotherhood combining forces, who both got kicked out of their respective organizations for being TOO violent against Israel? (and against Egypt in the case of the Muslim Brotherhood). And Hezbollah is a break-away faction due to its Shiite faith (vs Hamas' Sunni faith). I admit I have to tough time keeping track of the dynamics of all the groups in that area of the world!.
