  1. Brookings is considered the 'banana belt' of Oregon (just like Sequim is in WA). My late husband and I worked the winter at an RV park in Harbor back in 2005/6. Expensive place to live but loved it there. Harbor does not like to be called part of Brookings as you found out. A migraine is caused when the blood vessels in the brain contract which is why heat is best. I use to lay in a hot tub of water with my head under water just my nose sticking out to breath.
