Pilot didn't push him out, he tied a spool of fishing line to him and the other end to a fuel truck. once the line ran out it catapulted the fuel truck to the new destination however the co pilot was not belted in, this pulled him out through the ventilation system.   7.  @karmahunden  The pilot is concentrating on flying the aircraft / finding out where to land at an alternate airport and communicating with various air traffic control towers ( Aviate , Navigate , Communicate ) . Considering the speed of this aircraft, it would have covered the distance from where the guy was found to the airport in about 5 minutes, not much time left for the pilot to keep physical contact with someone moving around an aircraft with a near 30 passenger capacity.   10. And for long over water flights, 2 engine aircraft need to be certified in ETOPS ( Engines Turn Or Passengers Swim ) As in aircraft must still have enough performance to continue the flight to the nearest airport.
