  4. Where is the track you have opened? With the speeds and power of modern cars, 1/8 mile is the only way for some tracks to survive due to limited shut down area. Think about this, a top fuel car in 1980 was running 5.90 , now there are street driven cars ( Tom Bailey ) that have dipped into the very high 5's. . Besides, we don't know if there is enough space to make a 1/4 mile as $$$$ becomes available.

  6.  @minoozolala  I guess you don't realize that different areas of a city had pockets of people that spoke similar languages, this is how they initially survived but still learned English.

  12. Lock up for what? Son was on the deed from the start and parents effectively were paying rent. While unethical, no laws were broken. I'm also thinking that more is going on than the parents are telling us.
