  1. Then you MUST be against altering old cars in ANY way. Keep the bias ply tires, single circuit brake system , no modern engines or fuel injection , original drum brakes all around.

  3. Something else to think about, EV conversions will bring non car people into the fold. Not everyone has the skill or access to a mechanic / parts to keep old stuff going. Plus, old cars tend to sit unused for long periods of time which is detrimental to a gas engine but not an issue with an EV. Also, as more and more cars come on the market, there is a saturation point where the supply outstrips people willing to maintain an " old " car.
