Wait for the investigation. While what the guy did was wrong, we need to make sure she didn't meet him online and willingly left with him.

@susanpressley2781 Where did I say the guy should not be in jail for physical contact with a 13 YO? Please quote that part of my post. ( You won't ) What I'm saying is, it isn't kidnapping if she is a runaway and went willingly.

@dewilew2137 I NEVER SAID that SOME COMPONENT of what he did was not a crime. I'm saying to wait for the investigation and be accurate with the charges. If they charged the guy with a crime that was unrelated to the case and he was let go on a technicality, would you still push back against filing ACCURATE charges? I'm betting you would and be happy that he was let go.

" I've been saying all along to wait for the full investigation before saying that it was a kidnapping ( as in physically plucked from the street against their will ) If they went willingly, they are a RUNAWAY not a KIDNAPPING VICTIM. I AN NOT saying that if the guy had physical contact with the girl that it would be OK. . There have been other situations where a person was " kidnapped " only to be found later than they went willingly. How about you do some investigation of what happened in the McMartin Preschool case where things spiraled out of control after some blindly believed a random claim of abuse?
