If the MH was not there, the UPS truck would have been at the next stop and the car would not have hit them.

@jitteller9042 The mere threat of a law suit sometimes leads to a company throwing a few $ at the them just to make them go away.

@amtrakfan5511 Have a look at the passenger side of the car, no room for a person to be sitting. While seat belts are a benefit, this was not survivable.

@DreiSkins101 If the person never ordered the package, the UPS truck would not have been there. In an incident like this, everyone anywhere near the incident is named in the suit in hopes of getting an out of court settlement. A suit against the person that ordered the package would be instantly thrown out of court however the person would have to hire a lawyer to defend themself. This makes an out of court settlement less costly.
