  1. The scrap metal yard I deal with gets a 40 ft roll off box every couple of weeks, it is filled with pots / pans and anything with metal. This isn't entirely the fault of Goodwill as there isn't much market for used pans. As for clothing, regardless of who it is donated to, some is sold and the balance goes to companies that make rags and overseas to places like Ghana. Can't blame the charities as there is only so much of a market in the USA.
