Sickening that while rightly scorning corporate journalism, Hedges himself participates in the Russian interference scam by claiming that he has no doubt Russia did try to interfere in the 2016 election in the US. But then, Chris Hedges does that kind of thing over and over again: his own "reporting" on the destruction of Yugoslavia was as abysmal and deceptive as that of any other Western corporate journalist, yet he's never apologized for it and continues to peddle the same old narrative he did during the 1990s. Not a man of real integrity when it comes to media analysis or good journalism itself, for that matter.
