  2. Everyone is misinterpreting Putin's speech. The Russian military doctrine doesn't allow for first use of nuclear weapons in case Russian territory is attacked but only if Russia is faced with a numerically overwhelming enemy OR if the survival of the state itself (an attempt to dismember Russia as Yugoslavia was torn into pieces, or a decapitation strike on the leadership of the state which would leave Russia undefended). So, what Putin was referring to are the hypersonic missiles Russia has: one Sarmat would be enough to sink most (if not all) of the UK into the sea or wipe out a medium sized country in Europe. Russia simply has no need to resort to its nukes even if its military doctrine allowed it.

The only difference between the original n a z i s and the West today, as regards Russia, is that this lot of Western übermensch has learned over the past 80 years to tone down the language of ethnic supremacy. Ukrainian n a z i s and Ukrainian nationalists, being less sophisticated and a lot less inhibited, are totally open about it.
