  1. Novorossiya includes the Odessa region, too. With his pointed, repeated use of that term, Putin's just told us Odessa too will be coming home soon. Don't know how soon, but my conservative, cautious guess is within a year.

  6. Worry not and be reassured by Putin's speech as we all know the man doesn't bluff. His repeated use of the historical term Novorossiya clearly signalled to his public at home that Russia will liberate Odessa, too, as the Odessa region was a part of Novorossiya.
