  1. The point of that Telegraph piece is to keep up the myth of the bumbling Russian army, to conceal the fact the UK -- with the rest of the collective West -- has been defeated by Russia. The narrative risks collapse when the Telegraph admits the Russians built a formidable series of defense lines which stopped the West's proxy forces, but, hey, we won't pay that any attention. In the meantime, the Russian army's got a new recruitment video out in which Russian soldiers are peeing on Western weapons: Soldier1: They said their weapons won't burn. Soldier2: Oh they burn, and how! The only problem's they take so long to put out.
