  1. The SMO started at the end of February, and there are only 3 and a 1/2 months or some 15 weeks between now and March 2023. So where does the NYT get this idea that Russia will pause the SMO until mid-May?! Btw, if the NYT intelligence proves to our amazement and bewilderment to be right, it will be the clearest sign possible that the Kremlin has entered into some kind of a back-channel quid-pro-quo security deal with the Americans. I hope the Russians prove them wrong.
