  1. Come off it, Alex! This second attack on Engels is beyond embarrassing. It speaks of something VERY wrong about how Russia's approaching this. The West has just made Russia a laughing stock. The US would never allow such a second attack on its own territory! If you can't bring yourself to admit that openly and squarely, you're clearly less than an objective analyst. The same goes for your rationalisations of Putin's shockingly inept statements on negotiating.

So far, all they've shown is a remarkable readiness to jump on any Russophobic lie and piece of slander ever presented to them. Just like their grandparents and great-grandparents did about both the Jews and the Russians 80 and 90 and 140 years ago.

  8. And the Poles before them all. Invaded and tried to destroy the Russian state altogether. All of their hatred of Russia stems from the consequences of those actions (the Russians drove them all the way back and then dominated Poland for a while to prevent another such attempt).

  13.  @TheMusicolophile  Most Americans and Canadians are scared to say anything that challenges the official narrative and many people who do try to voice a divergent view report losing friends and falling out with their family members. Nor do they dare voice their views in the workplace. There hasn't been a single -- not one! -- large protest in the US or Canada against our governments' foreign policy towards Russia (and China). Only large-scale protests, involving millions of people out in the streets, could have any effect on the powers that be. I don't believe we'll see anything of the sort in North America. Even in Europe, whose populations have been far more severely affected by their anti-Russia policies, there's as yet no sign of any such large-scale protests. Tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, won't do. Such protests are simply ignored and purposely not covered by the media, which cannot be called free or independent in any substantive sense of the word.

  15.  @kathylarson8876  The one thing guaranteed to make them stop and reverse direction is general strike. They know this, which is why they've destroyed the only force that could organise a general strike, the most powerful peaceful weapon we the people have.
