Believe it or not, Macron studied philosophy in university, not drama, and has an advanced degree in public administration. He met his wife as a highschool student. I think Macron's been so erratic and foolish lately that you underestimate him unduly: this nonsense about Putin giving him a call one day is for his public at home, puffing himself up and with him France into a position of importance neither occupies. He knows perfectly well that his little scenario won't happen.
