  2. ​ @honkytonk4465  This is the Anglo-Saxon, definitely pre-English era. You wouldn't understand the language those folks spoke, and it would take another 400 years before anything resembling English (i.e. the Middle English), anything you might be able to parse out with some difficulty, arose.

  3. It's perfectly normal: children are very prone to fantasize things, people, various scenarios and healthy, non-accusatory scepticism is the right response to such stories.
