  1. The mystical path is far more widely trodden in the Orthodox tradition, and should you decide to join us formally, you will be welcomed. Our churches are like long estranged sisters: with patience and lice, God may bring us back together yet. In the meantime, you may want to look into the contemporary Catholic practice of the Centering Prayer, if you aren't already familiar with it.
