  1. The Budapest Memorandum was violated by the EU back in 2013, when it used an economic ultimatum for a geopolitical end (see Article 3 of the BM). From that point on, there's been nothing in international law to guarantee Ukraine's territorial integrity since Ukraine never registered its borders with the UN. The Minsk Accords never had a chance and were only a ploy to allow NATO to arm Ukraine to the gills. I don't recall offhand which Western politician admitted this publicly just in the last 6 weeks, but there's no controversy over that fact. I only feel sorry for ordinary, normal Ukrainians -- not their vicious, ethnic-hatred-ridden uber-nationalists -- who fell for Zelensky's promise to implement the Minsk Accords and re-establish friendly relations with Russia and voted him to power with a 73% majority.

  3.  @Crawling-Chaos-2024  Russia was not a party to the Minsk Accords at all and had no obligations and no tasks to carry out under it. The story that Russia didn't live up to its obligations under the Minsk Accords is a lie our media, parroting our politicians, have been feeding the public in order to conceal the real contents of the Accords and Ukraine's total failure to implement them.
