It's the equivalent of cannibals wearing shrunken human heads around their necks. As for how sincere Zelensky may have been about peace when he was first elected: his mentor, the oligarch who made him, Kolomoisky, also financed the Azov and other Nazi militias in Ukraine. The whole theatre of Zelensky being threatened by the Azov and the Right Sector was exactly that: a piece of theatre to justify his turn-around and his betrayal of the election platform on which he was elected by over 70% of Ukrainians.
