@Manvisitpivot The only "delusional" thing about Zachary is that he occasionally hears his father's voice -- something that would indicate a dissociative disorder. Schizophrenics usually exhibit several to numerous delusions and various behavioural abnormalities. I may be wrong, of course, but I also wouldn't put much faith in the diagnosis of a psychiatrist who also thought that Zachary was mentally incompetent to stand trial. The latter is most certainly not the case.

If his brother did actually rape Zachary years ago, he himself may be a sociopath.

 @stuarttacey Schizophrenia usually manifests suddenly, during adolescence, and without any drug or alcohol use. Late onset schizophrenia is very rare.
