I have to disagree on this issue of Zelensky's exigence: Ukraine has lost at least 400,000 men (and many more have been wounded) because the West twisted Zelensky's arm back in April 2022 and in effect forced Ukraine to fight Russia on its behalf, promising to support Ukrainians militarily all the way. Zelensky's not likeable, to put it mildly, but the West is incredibly hypocritical in pretending that it doesn't owe Ukraine everything it's asked for.
