@richardreich5090 I don't know much about Hungary, whose economy I understand is in an excellent shape, but Serbia's pretty amazing. The only one of ex-Yugostav states to have had 10 years of (illegal) Western sanctions on it, the only one to host over 250,000 refugees, the victims of Croatian ethnic cleansing, and the only one to be subjected to 78 days of (illegal) NATO bombing. Yet, economically, it's doing better than even those ex-Yugostav states that have income from both tourism and EU transfer payments. Debt to GDP ratio for Serbia = 50% (down from 52.7%) Debt to GDP ratio for Slovenia = 66.1% Debt to GDP ratio for Croatia = 73.2% Whatever it is the Serbs are doing, they're obviously way ahead of their immediate neighbours to the west.

@richardreich5090 I don't know what you're talking about. There are 252 Serbian citizens living in Poland (and 1,000 Poles living in Serbia)! 😂

@richardreich5090 They've been in Germany since the 1960s, i.e. when Serbia was still a part of Yugoslavia. Their numbers have not increased since.

@richardreich5090 Only 250,000? They've been in Germany since the 1960s, i.e. when Serbia was still a part of Yugoslavia, and their numbers haven't grown since. In contrast, Croatia, with about half the population of Serbia, has 430,000 of its citizens in Germany. As for Slovenia, I guess that explains its extremely high debt to GDP ratio: the two million Slovenes are all living way beyond their means! 😅
