It's an American affliction. They call it exceptionalism.
35
Meanwhile, Russia's completely insulated from this crap! 😂
29
They all (all of the collective West) still imagine they're invulnerable and no harm can come to them from the Americans. By the time reality compels them to face facts it'll be either too late or extremely hard and costly to get out of the mess they're creating for themselves.
26
Predictably so.
25
The changes we're witnessing today will reshape the world for the next millennium.
24
Evidently not.
13
No, BRICS countries are not leaving the UN. On the contrary, one of their aims is to restore the rule of law in international relations.
11
@GreenIsland38 How ignorant/brainwashed can you be?! The Soviets were going to put nuclear missiles in Cuba in response to the Yanks putting nuclear missiles in Turkey. Kennedy begged the Soviets not to publicize the fact that the US had to withdraw its nukes from Turkey in exchange for the Soviets agreeing not to proceed with stationing their nukes in Cuba.
11
I'm 66, retired, and feel the same.
11
Treat others as you'd like them to treat you, eh, America? 😅
11
@cjr-en4wr Who's going to compel American corporations to bring their production back home? The problem is that US administrations all work for the corporations and oligarchs. Changing that would take a serious change in American hyper-individualism and a Second American Revolution. I don't see that happening for as long as most people have enough to eat.
10
Well said. The collective West needs to be put in its place at last.
9
Only in the US.
8
As they should.
6
Pure arrogance.
5
@thecomment9489 Tragic, except for Ukraine's billionaire class, which now includes Zelensky and his entourage.
5
That's exactly what it is.
5
In the meantime, the Russian economy is booming and its standing in the world at large has never been better. Bolton's a dolt.
5
Or he's just stopped advising him, which seems more likely, given the decisions he made over the past year.
5

@ebonytv3414 No, Alaska was sold away fair and square. But Texas and California ARE Mexican, and Hawaii belongs to itself.
4
@well9179 A lot less than EU states, all of whom are still buying Russian gas and oil.
3
He lacks intelligence, period.
3
Just keep telling yourself that.
3
Good for Russia. They've been way too patient and too kind towards the dastardly West.
3
@skydragon23101979 I wouldn't rely on that happening at all. People who call everyone but the West uncivilised will renege on their agreements and cheat anytime it suits them. Wait for the next government and, in the meantime, let it be known in Argentina that you're ready to help them once they elect a trustworthy government that shows due respect for others.
2
What the war in Ukraine is all about.
2
That's exactly what Russia is advocating and working on: a basket of currencies to use as a substitute for the US dollar.
2
😮
2
@larryc1616 In your spiteful dreams. In reality, and according to the World Bank, the Russian economy has displaced that of Germany to become #1 in Europe and #4 globally.
2
@morganangel340 Hate him to infinity, Biden and Kamala beat him in senility and mega-inanity hands down.

 @winstonlim8 😅

It wasn't Europe that blew up those pipelines. It was the US.
1
It wasn't Europe that blew up those pipelines. It was the US.
1
Exactly! But you have to understand that the European political elite are literally in the pay of the US, bribed by the Yanks in the most egregious way. Paul Craig Roberts, who served under Ronald Reagan, reports that his source at the State Department tells him that every month the State flies suitcases full of dollars to various EU capitals to grease the wheels. Corruption in the US and the EU is confined to the top and is beyond belief!
1
And everyone can see it. Nobody believes her nonsense.
1
No, money laundering is something else. This is direct theft of public funds, actually.
1
The US was never indispensable to the rest of the world. It was just THE schoolyard bully, terrorizing the planet, until Russia stood up to show it its proper place in the order things, as just one large, economically developed country among others.
1
@neilclark8087 Sorry to break it to you, but the Russian economy has displaced Germany's as #1 in Europe. While Russia's going from strength to strength and growing despite the hundreds of sanctions you thought would destroy it, Germany's de-industrializing itself and losing on every front. Check out the IMF, the World Bank, the Financial Times and other reputable organizations on this.
1
Ursula's lying, as usual. ALL of Ukraine's grain went to the EU in 2022 and 2023. NONE of it -- zero -- went to poorer countries in Asia and Africa.
1
Putin's always had a soft spot for Germany. He was foolish enough to trust Merkel even after 2014!
1
😅

@marinkovacevic8732 In that time, the USD has lost roughly 20% of its former standing as a global reserve currency. Keep going.
1
@marinkovacevic8732 In that time, the USD lost roughly 20% of the global reserve currency market it once held. May it continue so.
1
50 most developed and richest countries in the world can't defeat Russia fighting them in Ukraine. All of it unfolding before the eyes of the rest of the world, of some 86% of humanity.
1
Has everyone already forgotten that it was Europe who bullied the rest of the world for centuries before getting eclipsed by the US?!
1
He also has the oligarchs to accommodate.
1
Women are human. That's how.

@WuJiZhang-wc9mc It's only the benighted evangelicals (Protestants) who deny evolution. Both the Orthodox and Catholic churches have embraced evolution.
1
@mariaannainditahernawati7132 I don't think so, though I'm sure Russia will invest very generously into its 4 new regions. As for the rump Ukraine, it can ask IMF and the World Bank for loans. 😉
