  3. You think your politicians represent you?! That's not how it works. You elect your politicians to represent the corporations and the oligarchs. Your part is to give the whole thing the appearance of democracy, which is the only thing that legitimises the continuing transfer of funds from the poor to the rich the system is designed for. That's all that remains of democracy in the US: just the appearance of it.
