  5. You haven't even begun healing yet. There's much work of accepting what's happened and grieving the future you had hoped for, before your deeper healing can start. It will all take time.

  6. I cannot imagine continuing to love a man after he'd cheated on me. You can't hurt me so deeply without me losing my feelings for you. I think many women prefer to blame "the other woman" rather than their own partner for the infidelity because it's far more painful to admit to oneself that it was your partner who betrayed you.
