  1. I needed help with a cyberstalker in Münich a few years ago and tried contacting the German cybercrime police unit. What a laugh! The relevant phone numbers listed on the federal police AND local Bavarian police websites were both out of service! 😂 So much for that legendary German efficiency.

  3. ​ @missis_jo  There's no way around your last point: educational achievements of children all over the world are closely correlated with the parents' socio-economic status. It's a matter of class culture differences and no reform of the education system can eradicate those in a world of readily accessible 24/7 entertainment (a.k.a. the internet).

  5. Yes, our healthcare system in Canada is shamefully bad. You were lucky to have found a family doctor within 6 months, actually. As for diagnostic imaging, my doctor in Kitchener (Southern Ontario) referred me for a brain MRI a year and a half ago -- we're still waiting! If I had a brain tumour, I'd be dead by now, as I'm sure has happened to who knows how many people here. Now that I'm retired, I'm moving to Serbia, Europe, as even a tiny impoverished Serbia's healthcare system is way, but way better than what we have here. Plus, the quality of food and the climate are incomparably better at a much lower overall cost of living and the rest of Europe is just a stone's throw away! 🙂

  13. ​​ @onlyagermanguy  #3 is definitely a bad thing for everyone with mobility problems, for parents with small children, and for many/most of the elderly. #5 Even Germans admit that Germans are generally an unfriendly people. Btw, you let in a couple of million refugees a few years ago because you need immigrants to do all the work Germans think is below them, AND because you're demographically dying fast.

  15. I visited Berlin about 20 years ago: service was fine and people were surpringly friendly, but the city was already quite dirty. Some of the shots in this video remind me of what I saw in Turkey. 🫤
