  1. The priest is Eastern Orthodox, not a Calvinist. His theology and his understanding of the Christian God is very different from any of the Protestant ones.

  2. No, not threatened. Not in Romania. The church is trying to warn their congregants and others of the spiritual dangers of witchcraft. The Orthodox Church, unlike Protestant and Catholic churches, never persecuted witches or burned them at the stake. It's a much more gentle form of Christianity than the forms developed in the West.

  4. Not all beliefs deserve to be respected. If that were so, we would be required to respect racist beliefs, Nazi beliefs, the beliefs of the Flat Earth folks, etc.
