  1. False reporting: Ukraine itself had mined its own ports and sea routes, which is why it had to export its grain to Europe overland. The demining was subsequently done by Turkish, Russian, and Ukrainian specialists and under a special UN-brokered agreement, Ukraine and Russia have been shipping their grain out for many months now. The grain was supposed to go to the poorest, most food-insecure countries, but the EU grabbed most of it. Russia has formally complained about this and is now reluctant to agree to an extension of that deal.
