  1. Can you also cite the article or the website you allegedly took this quotation from as I'll believe it only when I see the source itself. I know that Brzezinski wrote something similar (about betrayal being a feature of Ukrainian culture) but I'm not aware of any CIA statements from that effect.

That Prigozhin needs to send such a letter to Shoigu means that there's something very seriously wrong inside the Russian army, that some of its high- and medium-ranking officers are for all intents either criminally incompetent or (more likely, since such a degree of incompetence is hard to credit) traitors to Russia. A lot of Russians also believe the latter to be the case.

All of Ukraine's best trained forces have been destroyed, hundreds of thousands of second-best wounded and unable to return to the battlefront, and it's now reduced to literally dragging 15 and 16 and 60 year olds off the streets to thrown them as cannon fodder. Even such propaganda organs like The New York Times, Washington Post and the Guardian are now admitting it.
