She's been far more influential in the last 30 years, in the academia, than any of the guys you mention. Butler argued back in the 1980s that the way to subvert patriarchy was to parody gender, to act it out parodically. That's exactly what transgender males, men who pretend ("feel " and "identify as") women are doing. They parody women, and today's liberals (I don't call them feminists as they don't deserve that name) validly, mindlessly applaud them as "brave", not having the sense to realize they themselves are being mocked by OTT impersonation.

  2. Nurture does create gender but it doesn't create or determine sex. We need to insist on the proper use of these terms as one of the key tactics of the transgender propaganda has been to conflate the two concepts, sex and gender, in order to erase the reality of biological sex. You may impersonate a gender (which is what trans males and females do) but you cannot choose your sex, which is biologically determined.

In fact, the Bible of 2nd wave of geminism, Dimone de Beauvoir's book "The Second Sex", spells it out unambiguously. Just like today's transgender propaganda, this lady ignorantly conflates sex with gender without even realizing it.
