  1.  @kevinwaalker  The Russian economy is growing because, unlike the economies of finance capital, it's based on industrial production and on actual, material things of real value -- and because Russia has excellent trading relations with over 80% of the world. Meanwhile, American cities and highways are crumbling and soup kitchen lines go for miles....

  2. Don't be silly. No country, ever, has seen its economy grow by 19.3% in one or two or even three years. The Russian economy did grow in both 2022 and 2023 and is growing again this year, an astounding achievement given the sanctions the collective West has been throwing at it, so there's absolutely no need to exaggerate its accomplishments.
