  2. In the new video posted on the Col. Douglas Macgregor YT channel, the colonel says that Russia has amassed 540,000 troops "stationed around the outskirts of Ukraine, preparing to launch one of the major offensives" that he thinks "will probably end the war in Ukraine". And then he repeats that number, adding: "540,000 Russian troops, 1,000 rocket artillery systems, 5,000 armoured fighting vehicles including at least 1,500 tanks, thousands of guns, hundreds and hundreds tactical ballistic missiles. Ukraine's now going to experience war on a scale we have not seen since 1945." It will be interesting to see who turns out to be right in his forecast about how Russia will proceed over the next month or two: Alexander Mercouris, who doesn't expect any major offensives by the Russians, or Col. Macgregor, who does. It won't be too long, I think, before we find out.
