  2. Get well soon, Alexander! The decision to give up Kherson city, and with it Odessa, is simply heart-breaking. If it really does signal Kremlin's choice to make the Dnieper the natural border between the RF and Ukraine, letting Kiev keep Odessa and an opening to the Black Sea, it will have been the worst political and military decision Russia could have made from the point of view of its own long-term defense needs.
