  8. She set up Ukraine for this disaster by letting the EU violate Article 3 of the Budapest Memorandum back in the fall of 2013. A thoroughly nasty piece of goods, Ma Merkel, which makes Putin's soft spot for her all the more incomprehensible (and reprehensible).
