  6. Even if they got the 300 tanks Zaluzhny asked for a few weeks ago, Ukrainians could not defeat the Russians. Any idea that they might was nonsense from the get go. That's why egging Ukraine on to provoke and fight Russia was a cynical, massively callous thing all along. Ukraine could not only have avoided all this death and destruction and its loss of its most productive, economically key regions but could have put itself on the path of prosperity if it had chosen neutrality, implemented the Minsk Accords and resumed its previously friendly relations with Russia.

  9. I feel so sorry for the poor sods who are being rounded up and sent to their certain deaths against their will all over Ukraine. Telegram is full of videos of Ukrainians being taken off the street and press-ganged -- I simply can't bear to watch them any more.
