It is indeed treason, a complete callous betrayal of every single of the 71% of Ukrainians who had voted for Zelensky because he had promised them the implementation of the Minsk Accords and the resumption of friendly relations with Russia only to lead them into this senseless, unnecessary slaughter as soon as he got into power.

Which is what the Ukrainians should have done -- or, rather, they should have averted the war and any need for capitulation by implementing the Minsk Accords and agreeing to be a militarily neutral country. But Zelensky had to earn his billion by sending tens and by now possibly hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men to their death. It's astonishing that he's not been drawn and quartered by the Ukrainian public by now, but then he's well protected by the nazi goons he's surrounded himself with.

Ukrainians themselves wanted the implementation of the Minsk Accords and a resumption of friendly relations with Russia. Zelensky ran on that platform and was elected with a huge majority of 71%. The problem is that he lied and play-acted his way to power, betraying every single Ukrainian who'd voted for him.
