I firmly believe the reason you're seeing this story is to get people mad and demand "legal euthanasia". Something like the "MAIDS" program in Canada. Does it make sense to you why they would decide to use a gun and not the myriad of drugs available that are easier to get and will damn well kill you if you take too many. A lot easier and a lot less painful. Did this actually happen? I don't really know. What I DO know is there currently is a strong agenda on the left to legalize euthanasia, and this story helps them accomplish it.
