I don't know. I'm thinking maybe the fire bombing of Dresden and innocent civilians was probably worse. Or the dropping of two atomic bombs on civilian occupied cities was even worse.

@jeffmattson5766 . ..they weren't necessary regardless. Bombing civilians when the war was basically already over with wasn't necessary. And there were even more atrocities after the actual formal surrender. And FDR basically already had the US involved in the war on both fronts before Pearl Harbor. The Germans and the Japanese did not want war with the United States. Japan attacking Pearl Harbor was meant to keep the US out of their conflict. But it back fired. Great Britain declared war on Germany when Germany did not want war. Look up the events prior to German invading Poland. Then maybe look up Poland's annexation under threat of force with Czechoslovakia in 1938. Funny how war wasn't declared then or even after the Soviets invaded Poland shortly after Germany did. Great Britain - Imperialist Nation with Colonies all around the globe. France - see Great Britain Soviet Union - Communist dictatorship with ambitions to spread Communism throughout Europe and other parts of the world. United States - history of colonialism and slavery and probably the largest economy and potential military Yeah. . . I guess it sounds like we were the good guys. We fought to Liberate Poland from Germany and give 1/2 of Europe to the Soviet Communists for "Free". . .well. . .that's if you think millions of lives are "free". And to commemorate the victory in WWII a large wall was erected in Berlin. Japan - since WWII = Great Ally German - since WWII = Great Ally There's a reason why the Left looks at WWII as a Good war. What do you think General Patton meant when he said "we defeated the wrong enemy". Take a look at the West today. You surely can't argue it was a good war.

@jeffmattson5766 . . . just think. . . if we didn't defeat Germany we'd all be speaking German instead of English. LOL. So millions of millions of white Europeans killed each other for what? Take a look at the West today.

And to think we didn't even liberate Europe. And look at the West today and you have to ask yourself what was all that for? What a waste. We've been duped. . . again.
