  7. RE: 1ST one, instead of that long'ish bar (for 'feet') why wouldn't they put another set of legs, exactly the same as the 1st pair? That way it can move in all directions seamlessly ! [ EDIT: Hahahahaa! I have to stop commenting b4 watching the entire video! ]

  11. i can't believe this is even a thing. How stupid. (A) It's technically impossible. (B) Restrictions and censorship lead to abuse. <--- Just leave the WWW alone. People will self regulate. As to children - they should be regulated by parents anyway. Consider the WWW, what it is: The world outside your home. You should let you children roam to danerous or disgusting or illegal places... well same with WWW. But to censure the WWW or regulate it... that is as retarded as trying to make a 'War on Terrorism' <--- It's NOT POSSIBLE!!! It's a fantasy designed by ppl who can make $$$ from it!!! I don't want to live on Earth anymore 😥 BOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Aside from entertainment (and even then, there must be about 100 more entertaining concepts b4 u'd get to this!), this can't have many practical applications and lets not forget, helium is a finite resource!

  17. makes u wonder if a system like this wouldn't be great for all humanity - EVERYONE agrees about all this stuff, they all love the military (aside from the murdering other humans or being moved around) - i mean just the WAY the machine works, the whole uniform, rules, disciple, ranking, camaraderie yadda yadda yadda...So why can't society, as a whole, agree, we will live like this!   19. i really don't get the guitar playing. This is the sort of thing where no one would tell him that nobody is interested in listening to him play or sing because he's Chris Hadfield..... If you came to hear an ASTRONAUT speak, you want to hear about space travel stuff, not sing-song.

  20. Why am i watching this before bed? mankind is dooooooooooooooooooooooomed for so many reasons... this is just one... Perhaps AI will evolve before some nutter spreads a deadly virus and figure out solutions to keep us all safe... the only hope we humans have is that our parents (the AI) are benevolent and look after us well. I foresee a world where AI keeps us in strictly controlled environments - We can't be trust to be autonomous. It's the only logical outcome.

  25. This is WONDERFUL!!!! Just one bit gave me pause... I'm not sure everyone using exoskeletons, to run, is a good idea. In this modern world we are already severely compromised by all the 'casts' as Katy Bowman would call them.... Adding another cast, isn't necessarily good for us.

  29. I have this sneaking feeling that whatever we, the public, find out, we're actually 20 or way more nowadays (remember it's exponential!), decades further advanced.... 'They' just don't tell us.... (E.g. Black budget stuff....Certainly the military is at the forefront of a lot of amazing science that wouldn't be made public in a hurry!) P.s. I know this video is 7 yrs old 😋
