  3. <Considering my prev comment - i want to be clear i am absolutely not some biased kid or keyboard warrior 😉. I am 49 and i've personally experienced! A raid and when you're asleep and they are in plain-clothes and they don't identify themselves, it's pretty terrifying and worse, for me, personally...it makes you feel powerless and ....i can't think of the word right now, but one of the feelings someone who is raped feels...also humiliating. <VIOLATED* That's the word i was lookin' for - i realised when the guy said it made him feel 'vulnerable'.> There was NO need for them to bust my door at all. I wasn't a criminal (my flatmate, who they were serving the warrant on was) and i would have simply opened the door for them. They also had no reason to point guns at me. Bloody outrageous. The SYSTEMS need to be fixed and BAD APPLES need to be weeded out!

  4. Some of the comments here are saddening, ignorant and so very WRONG! It's not 'police' that are the problem! The MAJORITY of police are WONDERFUL people who do an AMAZING and thankless, low-paying job to protect YOU the community! The PROBLEMS (are many and varied): Are: LAWS, INDIVIDUAL bad apples and 'the SYSTEM' being broken (For example, clearly the internal checking systems are broken - It's very similar to the lack of training of deescalation and grappling/BJJ, which leads to excessive use of force).
