That's exactly why I subscribe to it because I wanted to learn a little more of the food preparation history. You always see the women in the hearth on TV but you never really know what they're eating other than if you see a plate of biscuits but this really is informative

I like watching this Channel it's really informative for me. Like someone mentioned they turn to it because of the history and so did i. When you see people who live in the really small cabins and they don't have much but they have to work they had to use everything they had at their disposal. Not one crumb went to waste. If there was something that could not be eaten you gave it to the chickens and those were pretty healthy chickens. So it's really interesting to see how things were prepared and the time that it took. I'm interested in seeing how butter was made and of course the milk came from a cow but how it was used after it was melt and the yeast because that in itself was something that took patience. I don't know how those people did it back then it was a hard life for sure.
