My God... truly a heartbreaking thing to watch. It makes you math it makes you angry and it makes you sad. When people talk about Seattle and they call it the Emerald City and they see pictures of Seattle and its Heyday even 10 years ago you see these magnificent skyscrapers you see historic buildings that have lasted through the times and you think wow what an amazing place I want to go there I want to see what it is. I have often gone to Downtown Seattle in hopes of finding a better-paying job. And now I'm really glad I did not pursue that. The first times that I had gone down to Seattle I was amazed at the cleanliness of the city. There was hardly any letter and there was hardly any graffiti all I could see of downtown was the hustle and bustle of business people wearing tennis shoes going to and from the buildings that they work and taking a bus taking a walk through a beautiful Park the Beautiful Planters in front of buildings that graced the name of a financial institution. And you felt that you were in some kind of magical fairy land because it was it was the Emerald City it was a city of hopes and dreams and you can find a good-paying job because this was Seattle and it was beautiful. And in the skyscrapers they had people who were playing pianos and people on their lunch break would sit in a small area for a Lobby and they would sit and listen people played music on the sidewalks and it was just amazing the vibration was so strong and so positive it blew you away. But now it's sad it's ruined. It's a skeleton that will not dissolve into the ground. And it is the fault of the city council they don't give a damn. And a previous film the same thing was happening the police could not do anything their hands were tied And and the people were just going in and out of jail it was a revolving door why even put a person through all the paperwork they didn't know what was going on. When this first became a problem is when it first should have been handled and now it has escalated out of control and what are they doing nothing. And this reporter says bringing Seattle to its knees I would say it's already fallen. It's laying in a gutter of murky filthy water and it will take everything to bring this Emerald to shine again. What an excellent piece of documentary thank you
